Our Pastor
The Reverend Michael Horrigan was called by the Chesapeake
Presbytery to be the organizing pastor of DaySpring Presbyterian
Church in May of 2003.
Michael was born and raised in Anne
Arundel County, Maryland and lived there until the summer of
1996 when he and his family moved to Timonium, Maryland. He
served as an Associate Pastor at Timonium Presbyterian Church
until his recent return. After receiving his Master’s
of Divinity Degree from Chesapeake Theological Seminary in 2000,
he was ordained by the Potomac Presbytery in 2001.
He counts among his favorite theological influences John Piper,
James Boice, Leslie Newbigin, Francis Schaeffer and John Calvin.
His missional approach to ministry and his desire to see the
Kingdom of God advance in Linthicum through a grace-centered
ministry are his greatest desire. He and his wife Kathleen have
four sons, Jaime, Kevin, Stephen and Benjamin.
